Gert decides to give his solitary brother who is struggling with depression a birthday present – an hour with a prostitute. Wim feels awkward in the situation. But Lise is a professional and in her company depression starts to retreat and life starts to seem worth living. The woman is so fascinating that Gert also gets interested. For the first time, the brothers suddenly feel that they are rivals as men.
It is not rare by far for an actor to write a script and to direct it and to be the main character. However, this film is made special by the fact that three actors are doing the same thing. Working on the film has most probably been fun for all three and as a result they have produced a cool comedy with some hints of the sorrow of lonely souls.
