Aurelio (an engaging Paulo Miklos) is a rocker on a comeback tour who is thrown into a media storm when a video clip of him breaking up a street fight goes viral. Suddenly he is being accused of the murder of a police officer. Director Iberê Carvalho reveals his cards slowly here and there are many twists and turns along the way. We follow Aurelio on a thrilling ride as he tries to piece together what really happened that day.
The film highlights issues of present day Brazil – racism, corruption, fake news. This is thought provoking entertainment. Do we notice others around us? Do we step up for them? For Aurelio this life-threatening night becomes quite an eye-opener.
