The Disappearance Of My Mother
|Production:||Nanof, RYOT Films|
Italian woman Benedetta Barzini was a supermodel in the 60s and a muse to artists like Warhol, Dali, Avedon etc. She didn’t appreciate the image of a woman created by the male society, which drove her to feminism.
Now being 75 she has grown tiresome from all of it. Benedetta would leave this world behind in a heartbeat if it wouldn’t contradict the plans and dreams of her son who is actively making a documentary about the life of his mother. While both sides agree to create this documentary, personalities clash and things get heated sometimes, which does not stop Beniamino to capture the soft side of his mother.
The film will leave no audience members untouched.
