Have you ever imagined that geographical shapes of Lithuania could be similar to a smaller version of Africa? Respected traveller and researcher Feliksas Gruodis develops radically utopian ideology to relocate citizens of still free Lithuania and save them from rather imminent occupation threats by Poles, Russians, even Nazis. Unluckily he is not so skilful to protect nearly loveless marriage from harmful invasion of demanding mother-in-law.
Ambitious debutant K. Kaupinis doesn’t provide any introduction about political situation of 1936 and avoids from additional explanations in visually striking, witty, funny satire. He relays on willingness to freely interpret historical events and facts, which were ingeniously modified by fictitious ideas, changed names of real personalities and written in invented protagonists or their fates.
