A film about Kihnu men who drink vodka. The Kihnu islanders have been robbed of their right to organise their own life and thus cultural life deteriorates and social problems deepen. A painful and sad story. Naturally, the author is not just talking about the island of Kihnu, but about all of Estonia. The Silver Dove award and the critics’ first prize from the Leipzig Film Festival.
