Synopsis

After visionary debut “In the Crosswind” Estonian M. Helde continues to experiment with possibilities of expression. He takes quite simple and minimalist story, which is rewinded for 3 variedly repeated versions. Every time we witness same encounter of longly absent brother and sister from different perspectives. Personal monologues and different viewpoint angles reveal new details, deeply hurtful truths, traumatic fears, silent secrets.
Undeniably beautiful visuals are captured by magnificent black and white aerial camera in road trip poem about human feelings and relationships. Siblings Jenna and Tom ride through wintery forest. They aim to reconcile after crucial events in 7 years past and learn from previous mistakes. Guilt burns in their hearts and minds.
