In Bed with a Writer

A humble drunkard and father of 5 kids. Ambiguous provocateur and honestly funny man. Nudist, exhibionist and writer. Estonian Bukowski, who translated real Bukowski to Estonian language. Peeter Sauter not only writes prose and novels, but tirelessly stages awkward and naughty one-man-band performances in various places of Tallinn.
Surprisingly interesting to follow after controversial street philosopher even without knowledge about Sauter’s literature works and his personality. This is elegantly staged documentary, where main protagonist is interpreted by famous Tambet Tuisk in more vivid situations. Hard to tell what Estonians really think about stranger’s frequent pranks, but internationally unknown Sauter has something to share with a wider audience. Manfred Vainokivi tries to help artistic loner break through during personal life crisis.
